Bronwyn, Philip and the team did a wonderful job in assisting our family organise the funeral of our grandfather at the Altona Sports Club. Bronwyn, Phillip and the staff at Candlepines handled my mother in-law's funeral last year and were fabulous, so didn't hesitate in using them for my father in-law two weeks ago. Again they were absolutely wonderful with the care they gave us. It was family awkward and they helped immensely, right down to the sourcing of Father Michael for the graveside burial. He was amazing.

I recently lost my mother and was so overwhelmed looking at funereal directors, I came across Candlepines and they just felt right. I met with Bronwyn who was absolutely lovely and so supportive helping me organise everything. She was so helpful with any questions I had and when it came to the service, the service was amazing. I have been to funerals in the past but candlepines really made us feel comforted and they treated us like family. I thank Bronwyn and the candlepines team for all of thier help and support. Sadly, we had to organize a funeral for our mother who passed away in November. Unlike birthday parties which happen yearly, it is the one event that you don't get to rehearse. The entire process would have been quite overwhelming if it wasn't for Bronwyn at Candlepines. After mum passed away we weren’t sure who to use or what happened next - death admin - people called it ! It was a very difficult time but once we found Candlepines funeral services we felt relieved as they were so helpful and very professional. Mum had a very simple quick burial and with Bronwyn’s help she was laid to rest with ease and comfort for all concerned, and the flowers were just beautiful. We contacted Candlepines to arrange for a pre paid funeral both Phillip and Bronwyn we very helpful in advising us of all packages and options and costs that were available. Arranging the funeral in advance was an excellent option for us. When it was time for the funeral arrangements we had a meeting with Bronwyn she was so kind considerate and sympathetic. Bronwyn arranged for the memorial cards the flowers and pointed us in the right direction to arrange the photo gallery and music that we had chosen. "Remembering With Love" is an apt phrase for this for this small family owned Australian business. From first contact with Bronwyn, I was impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, patience and sincerity. Our family were provided with options, information and current Co-Vid 19 restrictions. We appreciated the live streaming of the funeral enabling a wider audience to reflect on the life of my step-mother. Funerals are difficult at any time however nothing was too much trouble for Candlepines during the pandemic. All the little details were taken care of such as showing attendees to their seats, delivering and regifting of the flowers to the local church, and following up with me beyond the service. Sadly, we had to organize a funeral for our mother who passed away in November. Unlike birthday parties which happen yearly, it is the one event that you don't get to rehearse. We contacted Candlepines to arrange for a pre paid funeral both Phillip and Bronwyn we very helpful in advising us of all packages and options and costs that were available. Arranging the funeral in advance was an excellent option for us. When it was time for the funeral arrangements we had a meeting with Bronwyn she was so kind considerate and sympathetic. Bronwyn arranged for the memorial cards the flowers and pointed us in the right direction to arrange the photo gallery and music that we had chosen. Bronwyn, Phillip and their son James are absolutely wonderful caring people and are perfectionists at their jobs. If you ever need funeral directors who care more about your passed loved one than money Candlepines is definitely the place to pick. All I wanted for my dear mum was for her to have the best send off and I couldn't of done it without Bronwyn and her team. I even made drastic changes last minute but nothing was impossible for them to change because their goal is for you to achieve everything you want for your loved ones funeral. I would love to say a big Thankyou to Bronwyn, Phillip and James for giving my mother the best send off and for helping my family and I in this difficult time. In Dec 2021 my wife and I suffered the loss of our first child through miscarriage and as you can imagine it was a really difficult time. An amazing experience in what was a very telling and emotional time for me and my family. "Remembering With Love" is an apt phrase for this for this small family owned Australian business. From first contact with Bronwyn, I was impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, patience and sincerity. Our family were provided with options, information and current Co-Vid 19 restrictions. We appreciated the live streaming of the funeral enabling a wider audience to reflect on the life of my step-mother. Funerals are difficult at any time however nothing was too much trouble for Candlepines during the pandemic. All the little details were taken care of such as showing attendees to their seats, delivering and regifting of the flowers to the local church, and following up with me beyond the service. My gratitude to Candlepines - highly recommended.

After mum passed away we weren’t sure who to use or what happened next - death admin - people called it ! It was a very difficult time but once we found Candlepines funeral services we felt relieved as they were so helpful and very professional. Mum had a very simple quick burial and with Bronwyn’s help she was laid to rest with ease and comfort for all concerned, and the flowers were just beautiful. We highly recommend Bronwyn of Candlepines Funeral Services. Bronwyn sympathetically guided us through the entire funeral arrangements at a time of high anxiety for our family, without fuss. Bronwyn always followed through on what she said she would do and she went the extra mile to arrange a viewing with little notice.

We totally recommend Candlepines to take care of all your funeral requirements during such a difficult time. We did not have to worry about anything after arrangements had been made after the passing of our Mother, in May this year.
