Bronwyn, Phillip and the staff at Candlepines handled my mother in-law's funeral last year and were fabulous, so didn't hesitate in using them for my father in-law two weeks ago. Again they were absolutely wonderful with the care they gave us. It was family awkward and they helped immensely, right down to the sourcing of Father Michael for the graveside burial. He was amazing.

I recently lost my mother and was so overwhelmed looking at funereal directors, I came across Candlepines and they just felt right. I met with Bronwyn who was absolutely lovely and so supportive helping me organise everything. She was so helpful with any questions I had and when it came to the service, the service was amazing. I have been to funerals in the past but candlepines really made us feel comforted and they treated us like family. I thank Bronwyn and the candlepines team for all of thier help and support. Sadly, we had to organize a funeral for our mother who passed away in November. Unlike birthday parties which happen yearly, it is the one event that you don't get to rehearse. The entire process would have been quite overwhelming if it wasn't for Bronwyn at Candlepines. After mum passed away we weren’t sure who to use or what happened next - death admin - people called it ! It was a very difficult time but once we found Candlepines funeral services we felt relieved as they were so helpful and very professional. Mum had a very simple quick burial and with Bronwyn’s help she was laid to rest with ease and comfort for all concerned, and the flowers were just beautiful. We contacted Candlepines to arrange for a pre paid funeral both Phillip and Bronwyn we very helpful in advising us of all packages and options and costs that were available. Arranging the funeral in advance was an excellent option for us. When it was time for the funeral arrangements we had a meeting with Bronwyn she was so kind considerate and sympathetic. Bronwyn arranged for the memorial cards the flowers and pointed us in the right direction to arrange the photo gallery and music that we had chosen. I can not thank Bronwyn and team at Candlepines enough for leading us through a very difficult time, We live in the U.K and my relatives have no other family in Australia it was left to Bronwyn to organise everything for us which she did with compassion, patience, knowledge, nothing and I mean NOTHING was to much trouble, I wouldnt have got through it all without her, this is the second time she has done this wonderful service for us, first Jean and now her husband she managed to get the same vicar to take the service for both of our relatives so he knew them both and that was comforting. From first contact with Bronwyn, I was impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, patience and sincerity. Our family were provided with options, information and current Co-Vid 19 restrictions. We appreciated the live streaming of the funeral enabling a wider audience to reflect on the life of my step-mother. Funerals are difficult at any time however nothing was too much trouble for Candlepines during the pandemic. All the little details were taken care of such as showing attendees to their seats, delivering and regifting of the flowers to the local church, and following up with me beyond the service. Sadly, we had to organize a funeral for our mother who passed away in November. Unlike birthday parties which happen yearly, it is the one event that you don't get to rehearse. We contacted Candlepines to arrange for a pre paid funeral both Phillip and Bronwyn we very helpful in advising us of all packages and options and costs that were available. Arranging the funeral in advance was an excellent option for us. When it was time for the funeral arrangements we had a meeting with Bronwyn she was so kind considerate and sympathetic. Bronwyn arranged for the memorial cards the flowers and pointed us in the right direction to arrange the photo gallery and music that we had chosen. In Dec 2021 my wife and I suffered the loss of our first child through miscarriage and as you can imagine it was a really difficult time. Bronwyn from Candlepines looked after us perfectly, in the most considerate manner possible. We were really quite lost, and she kindly explained options, kept it simple, and kept us informed. An amazing experience in what was a very telling and emotional time for me and my family. "Remembering With Love" is an apt phrase for this for this small family owned Australian business. From first contact with Bronwyn, I was impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, patience and sincerity. Our family were provided with options, information and current Co-Vid 19 restrictions. We appreciated the live streaming of the funeral enabling a wider audience to reflect on the life of my step-mother. Funerals are difficult at any time however nothing was too much trouble for Candlepines during the pandemic. All the little details were taken care of such as showing attendees to their seats, delivering and regifting of the flowers to the local church, and following up with me beyond the service. My gratitude to Candlepines - highly recommended.

When my mum passed away, my family was plunged into grief. Having to call around the next day to organise a funeral director was daunting. Out of all the calls we made, questions for quotes etc. the only funeral director that offered to come over to our home to meet us was Bronwyn & Phil. Their family approach & the way they just took control of the event & supported our family, allowed us all to grieve & be there for each other. When dad passed away unexpectedly this year, it was such a relief knowing we had Bronwyn, Phil & family in our corner.

After mum passed away we weren’t sure who to use or what happened next - death admin - people called it ! It was a very difficult time but once we found Candlepines funeral services we felt relieved as they were so helpful and very professional. Mum had a very simple quick burial and with Bronwyn’s help she was laid to rest with ease and comfort for all concerned, and the flowers were just beautiful. We highly recommend Bronwyn of Candlepines Funeral Services. Bronwyn sympathetically guided us through the entire funeral arrangements at a time of high anxiety for our family, without fuss. Bronwyn always followed through on what she said she would do and she went the extra mile to arrange a viewing with little notice.

My family members in Singapore told me the mass was simple but very beautiful service with the perfect music selected especially the 1st and 3rd was very touching and emotional. We totally recommend Candlepines to take care of all your funeral requirements during such a difficult time. We did not have to worry about anything after arrangements had been made after the passing of our Mother, in May this year.
